The world of sports has several games, each with a set path that draws unique entertainment to both players and fans. For example, football and basketball are some of most games played around the world, each with fans glued by the culture of those games. Statistically, football is the most popular game in the world, with more than 3.5 billion fans. Most fans of football come from Europe, Africa, Asia, and America. With more than 400 million fans, basketball is mainly recognized in America and other parts of the world. Although those games bring about joy, entertainment, and much fantasy in sports, which is better, football or basketball? Or can you compare football vs basketball?

❓ Which sport is harder: American football or basketball?

The harder sport is American football. It requires more physical fitness and better skills.

❓ Which sport is harder: football (soccer) or basketball?

The harder sport is football (soccer). Its players have to be faster and the rules of the game make it much harder for them to score at least one point.

Which is better football or basketball?

That is the question that has been challenging most individuals in the field of games. But to be sincere, everyone will have their own and unique views regarding this debate agenda. If you ask any fan of one of those games, “football vs basketball, which is better” the supporter will pull the advantage on what they support. That definitely can tell the goodness of a game; whether football or basketball depends on the individual differences. Some will say football is better than basketball based on a particular perception, maybe the mode of play, rules surrounding the game, or the fan that comes out of the game.

Is football better than basketball?

Both basketball and football are dynamic and fun sports in their own unique and specific ways. No one of them can replace the other. The intensity, drama, strategy, and athleticism that the sports possess are unmatched; hence hard to tell which is the best. So, it simply means that both sports are better in their unique way. Depending on the individual likeness and preference, football can be a better sport.

Why is football better than basketball?

Although both games are better, here is why football is the best sport over basketball.

which is better football or (vs) basketball - ball at the goal

a. Football keeps players physically fit than basketball.

Football has a lot of running compared to basketball, and the playground is larger. Running and kicking increases stamina, improves bone and muscle strength, and reduces body fat. On the other hand, although there is running in basketball, it is not so complicated. Generally, football engages almost every body part, which keeps players fit.

b. Football is a universal or global sport.

Although people similarly love all sports, football has the most love from people across the globe. Unlike basketball, football has acquired more attention and value on international platforms. For instance, over two hundred countries engage in the sport and play global tournaments. Additionally, more people know about football than about basketball.

Grass ball and the player

c. Football has no height limit.

The other feature that makes football better than basketball is that it does not limit or restrict height. That means that anybody, regardless of their height, can engage in the sport. You can effortlessly play football even if you are five or six feet tall. However, basketball-only needs individuals who are six to seven feet tall therefore restricting others from playing it.

d. Football has no seasonal restrictions.

Football does not have any offseason, meaning that players can play soccer all year round; summer, winter, autumn, and spring. Conteaily basketball only has its playing seasons during autumn and winter.

why is football better than basketball - two teams

e. Football fans have a larger presence.

Unlike basketball, soccer’s fan base is enormous. There are millions of soccer fans internationally who cheer for their teams. basketball, on the other hand, does not have as rich a fan base as soccer.

f. Soccer has less scoring, which makes the goals more exciting.

Football has less scoring; this makes the game even better and interesting as the team’s rival towards scoring. But in basketball, scoring is easy; this means every goal shot is less exciting. Additionally, due to reasons like missing the shot, great goalie, or defense, it is pretty challenging to score a goal. So, when a team makes a goal, fans become more excited. Fans often build excitement and eagerness for a goal since goals are hard to make.

g. Football has a more profound and richer history.

Football dates back to over two thousand years in England but also other countries like some, ancient Greece, parts of Central America, and China, played it. The sport quickly expanded and gained popularity in different countries and became a global sport. Due to its rich history, it has become better than basketball. Basketball was started in 1891 by a physical instructor looking for a sport with fewer injuries.

Is basketball better than football?

Yes, from the perception of the nature of the two games, basketball is better than football. For example, football has an intense collision of players and much use of extreme efforts that basketball lacks. But to support the argument that basketball is better than football, here are some main reasons.

The player hits the basket

Why basketball is better than football?

a. Low occurrence of Injuries

Basketball is a game where players find it easier to navigate through opponents than football. It is a game meant to use less effort but full of incredible skills. Collisions in football among players are high compared to that of basketball. Even if injuries occur during basketball play, they won’t be severe like that of football.

b. It needs small space to play

Unlike football, you can play basketball in a small space like a showroom; you need just a ball and a hoop.

why is basketball is better than football - a player throws the ball into the basket

c. Easy during Tournaments

Tournaments with basketball games can take a shorter period, and many teams get involved because hoopers frequently can play several more games than football players. In other words, footballers find it harder to play consecutive games or several games in a day than hoopers find it easy in basketball.

d. Basketball has no specific number of players to start a match

Unlike football that requires a particular number of players for a game to be complete, basketball does not. You can shoot alone, or with a friend or as a group. Regardless of the number of players you have, you can play the sport.

e. Basketball has simple rules.

Unlike football, basketball has simple rules. Football rules are very situational and complicated, but basketball’s rules are simple and easy to learn.

Football vs Basketball – Conclusion

Comparing which is better, football vs basketball can take a wide response because how one views each game is not the same way the other individual does. Although in some cases, we can agree football is better than basketball or basketball is better than football when there is a consideration of a single perception, for example, the physical contact in each game. Therefore, to assert one game is better than the other, some ideas should be considered and compared to come out with a solid agreement.

Posted in Facts about football

Football is one of the popular games loved by many. Most people are familiar with the normal football matches, how they are conducted and the rules guiding the game. Since it is a fun game, everyone can participate regardless of their body abilities and disabilities. Virtually impaired or partially sighted football is a special type of football for athletes with visual impairments. Blind football rules and regulations are different from those we are used to. So, in this article, we will discuss rules and regulations for blind football.

❓ How many players are in blind football?

In this game there are two teams. No more than 5 players play in each team.

❓ How long does a 1 blind football match last?

One full match has two halves of 20 or 25 minutes, with a halftime break of ten minutes.

❓ What are the dimensions of a blind football field?

The international field dimension is 38 to 42 meters by 18 to 22 meters.

❓ What makes an exclusive blind soccer ball?

A blind football ball has to make a sound that helps players catch where that ball is.

In addition to blind football, you can also learn to play regular soccer, soccer tennis and futsal.

Number of players

A match consists of two teams, each with five players. Four of the players must be blind category B1. The goalkeeper may be partially or fully sighted categorized as B2OR B3. A guide is also included. A full team squad is composed of a maximum of fifteen members. They include one head coach, one assistant coach, eight out-field players, one guide, two goalkeepers, one physiotherapist, and a doctor. In case a team needs a translator, one coach translator may be authorized. But he or she is not part of the official squad.

How to play blind football?

Firstly, one full match has two halves of 20 or 25 minutes, with a halftime break of ten minutes. Either team can call a one-minute time-out in each half. All out-field players put on blackout eyeshades and shin guards to ensure the game is fair and equal. The goalkeeper must stay in their area throughout the match but can talk to the out-field players to give instruction.

Three players in the game

The coach

Secondly, the coaches in each team are fully sited. And their area is behind the opponent team’s goal and on the halfway line. This arrangement ensures the coach behind the goal can instruct the forward players while the assistant coach on the sideline directs the midfielders. The goalkeeper is tasked with organizing the defense.

Field dimension

The international field dimension is 38 to 42 meters by 18 to 22 meters. The playing pitch can be grass, cement, or artificial turf. Rebound panels are used to surround the pitch, where they are designed to create an acoustic echo. The echo helps the players to locate each other and their positions by clicking fingers and when the ball is going out and in of play.

Sound device

Firstly, one of the rules for blind football requires the ball to have a sound device for players to hear it and locate where the ball is or where it is spinning towards. Blind football has no off-sides or throw-ins rule. Thence the game has few interruptions and is very fast. The ball is considered to go out of play if it hits the ceiling of an indoor pitch or over the kickboards.

Penalty kick

During a penalty kick, the attacking coach taps both the crossbar and the vertical posts for the player to process the sound and know where to place the ball. When the match is on or during penalties, the fans maintain silence to enable players to hear when the coach is talking to them and hear the ball as it moves.

‘go’ or ‘voy’

Blind football rules require the players to shout the ‘go’ or ‘voy’ before making a tackle to notify the player with the ball of the tackle’s direction. That prepares the player to counter the tackle and be alert in case of any contact.

Substitution procedure

Rules for blind football stipulate that players may use substitutes in any match under the aegis of IBSA or national member association and the rules of an official competition.

Six substitutions can be made in each half for every team. The number of substitutions made does not affect the first or second half substitution numbers at halftime. Substituted players can return to the field to replace another player.

Under the B1 category of players, only four substitutes of out-field players and one goalkeeper. So, if the two goalkeepers have been injured, and the match doctor confirms their injuries, any team official is allowed to act as a goalkeeper. The official must not be a B1 player. In case the match was a national one, the official replacing the goalkeeper must be of the same nationality as the team to be allowed as a substitute.

Blind football rules follow the following conditions to make a substitute, and substitutions are only made when the ball is out of play.

two players - rules for (of) blind football

Blind football rules and regulations

  • The play shall be stopped to allow for substitution.
  • Over the public address, the substitution is announced, indicating the number of players going out of the field players and the number of players going in the field.
  • Substituted players must leave the field using his or her team’s substitution area or the main substitution door.
  • Players coming into the field of play must do it from the main substitution door or in the team’s area or substitution. The player will only enter the field if going out of the pitch has passed the touchline, and the referee has been granted permission to enter the field.
  • The substitute is under the authority of the referee whether called out to play or not.
  • A substitution is declared complete when the replacement enters the field and becomes active in the field, and the player who went out of the field stops to be an active player.

If by any chance a substitute enters the field while the ball is in play;

  • Firstly, the play is stopped.
  • Secondly, the substitute is given a yellow card, warned, and compelled to leave the pitch.
  • The play is then restarted by the opposite team. Taking an indirect free kick from the point where the person placed the ball before the game was stopped.

 Scoring method

 Scored goals

Rules of blind football recognize a legitimate goal as if the ball goes past the line, under the crossbar, and inside the goal. The goal will stand provided the ball was not thrown, carried, or intentionally moved by the arm or hand of the attacking team, including the goalkeeper, and the scoring team has not infringed any rules of the game leading to the goal.

Winning team

The team with the most scored goals in a match wins the game. So, if both teams do not store or have scored an equal number of goals in a match, the match is drawn.

In a previous article, we discussed the rules of football. Now is the time to learn soccer tennis. Soccer Tennis Rules are the set of guidelines that govern soccer. They include all aspects of how to play football tennis, from how to score a goal to what constitutes an unfair penalty kick. Soccer is played on a field divided into two halves by a line called the “goal-line.”

Dimensions of a football-tennis court

Soccer tennis rules (football tennis rules)

In soccer tennis, the ball must be kicked or thrown through one of these lines for it to count as a valid shot; otherwise, it’s considered out of bounds. A player can only use his hands when he has possession of the ball (i. e., while holding onto it with both feet). If you’re not sure whether your team should pass or shoot at any given moment, consult the referee before making a decision.

20 basic regulations of the game

Rule 1:

The game begins with each side taking turns kicking the ball around until they get tired. When this happens, players take their positions along the sidelines according to where they want to receive the next pass. Players may also run upfield if there isn’t enough space between them and the opposing team. Once everyone is ready, the coach gives the signal to begin playing.

4 players

Rule 2:

The first person who touches the ball after receiving it from another player scores a point. This rule applies even if the other player was fouled during the act of scoring. For example, if a defender kicks the ball away from him but then accidentally hits someone else, the attacker still gets credit for the goal because he touched the ball last. However, if the defender tried to stop the attack, he would have lost the point.

Rule 3:

One of the most observed soccer tennis rules pertains to the handling of the ball by the goalkeeper. If a goalkeeper catches the ball outside the area marked off by the goalposts, he automatically loses control of it. He cannot touch the ball again unless he recovers it inside the box. In addition, he will lose three points for every minute he spends without touching the ball.

Rule 4:

A player whose foot makes contact with the ground behind the goal-line loses control of the ball and commits a foul. As soon as the offending player regains control of the ball, the defending team receives a free-kick. Free kicks are awarded whenever a player commits a foul within ten yards of either end zone. These penalties usually result in goals scored directly from the spot.

How to play soccer tennis rule 5:

When a player dribbles the ball past several opponents, he earns himself a corner kick. Corner kicks occur when a player passes the ball over an opponent’s head and beyond the reach of defenders. After being taken, the ball becomes dead and no longer counts against the attacking team. It is now possible for the defense to advance the ball toward its own goal.

Rule 6:

When a player takes more than five steps with the ball, he gains possession of it. At this time, the ball belongs exclusively to the player who took it. To regain possession, the original owner must throw the ball back across the centerline. Otherwise, the new possessor keeps hold of the ball indefinitely.

Football tennis game rule 7:

Players may not step on the ball except when passing it. Doing is a breach of the soccer tennis rules and results in a direct free kick. An indirect kick is awarded instead if the offender deliberately tries to injure an opponent.

Ball, net and the grass

Rule 8:

To prevent injuries caused by careless handling of the ball, players must wear protective equipment such as shin guards, elbow pads, mouthguards, and helmets. All players must wear shorts, socks, shoes, and shirts made of synthetic material. Goalkeepers must wear special per match.

Rule 9:

To ensure fair competition in a football tennis game, coaches are prohibited from coaching their own players.

Rule 10:

All players must keep their heads upright throughout the match. Shoulders must remain down and elbows tucked close to the body. No part of the arm or hand may extend above shoulder height.

Rule 11:

Players may use their arms to push themselves up out of bounds or to protect themselves from injury. If they do so intentionally, however, they commit a penalty.

Huge football tennis court

Soccer tennis game rule 12:

No player may make unnecessary physical contact with his opponent. A player who does so incurs a yellow card and a subsequent red card as dictated by football tennis rules. When a player is cautioned, he remains in play until the next whistle blows. Suspensions are imposed immediately upon receipt of the second caution.

Rule 13:

Penalty shots are awarded after each goal is scored during extra time. A penalty shot occurs when a player shoots the ball into the net without having touched it first. In addition, the goalkeeper cannot touch the ball before shooting. He may attempt to stop the ball but must wait until the last moment before releasing it.

Rule 14:

The game ends when one side scores three goals or more. This score entitles the winner to claim victory. However, if neither team reaches this total, then the final score will determine which team won.

Kids play - soccer tennis rules

Rule 15:

If a tie exists between two teams, the result goes to sudden death overtime. Each team receives four minutes to score once. If either team fails to score within those four minutes, the other wins automatically.

Rule 16:

Each team also gets one additional minute to score. Additional minutes could range anywhere from 30 seconds to 90 seconds, depending on how long the stoppages were. During this period, the clock stops whenever there is a stoppage in play. Once again, the winning team claims victory.

Rule 17:

After the end of regular play, the game continues under modified conditions. Teams switch sides for every half-hour interval. Players change positions randomly. There is no limit on substitutions.

Rule 18:

During the intermission, the umpires distribute water bottles to the players. These contain electrolytes to replace what was lost through perspiration. Players may drink freely during breaks.

Soccer tennis rule 19:

After the completion of the third quarter, the teams return to normal playing conditions. Play resumes with the same starting lineup as used previously.

Rule 20:

When the fourth quarter begins, the scoring system changes slightly. Instead of awarding points for goals, the number of corners taken is recorded. After five corners have been taken, the game ends. More about football tennis.

In a previous article, we discussed the rules of soccer tennis. Now is the time to learn futsal. Futsal is a sport that is rapidly gaining in popularity, where soccer is the main objective but with it being played on a small court with five players maximum per side. It follows all of the rules you are used to seeing when watching football games; however, there are different Futsal rules and regulations pertaining to certain aspects of the game. So, let’s start to read about futsal rules and regulations.

3 players futsal goalkeeper rules and regulations

Futsal rules and regulations

Play is started with a kickoff, after which the team player must pass the ball backward.

The team in possession of the ball cannot make more than three consecutive passes in the opponent’s half without losing possession. Otherwise, they will be forced to forfeit possession back to their opponents. A goal can only be scored when the player has moved away from the defenders by at least 10 meters.

By futsal rules and regulations, the ball is played with the feet and not touched by the hands, unlike standard football. They do, however, use their hands to dribble and save (similar to basketball).

The court

The court is smaller than a regular soccer pitch, measuring 40m x 20m (or 120ft x 60ft). These dimensions can vary by country and league/competition (i.e., FIFA). Lines divide the field of play which starts at the midline. Line ends at each of the sidelines, where it meets the goal line for your team’s net.

That will be an important part to remember later on when we talk about rules pertaining to attacking and defending (and penalty rules), as goalkeepers and outfield players cannot cross this line before a ball has been played with their feet or touched by another player from their team after being passed from a teammate, except in the penalty area.

Yellow ball futsal game penalty rules

Team roster and substitutions

A team can consist of 5 players maximum on the court, including the goalkeeper. Those players are allowed to be substituted as long as it is done so in a timely fashion and before play has begun again.

Substitutions must occur:

  • with permission from referees
  • when play has stopped
  • through players coming on and off the bench through designated areas
  • only when the ball is not in play
  • teams cannot change goalkeeper during a stoppage or goal-kick (the exception being if their current goalkeeper sustains an injury).

Duration of a match

A football match is divided into 2 equal halves, each being 45 minutes in length.

There are no extra periods to compensate for stoppages as play will continue as scheduled as long as there are still 45 minutes left before the end of that particular half.

In the event that matches finish with teams being on equal points at full-time. There would be a need for an extra time period which consists of two 5 minute periods where the first goal scored ends the game and awards 3 points.

On a side note, though, there will not be any golden goals or shootouts if games happen to finish level on aggregate over two legs during knockout stages in competitions such as the UEFA Futsal Cup.

Basic rules of futsal kick in futsal

Foul and misconduct

A player can be sanctioned with a direct red card if their action(s) warrants it. These actions include:

  • attempting to inflict physical harm on another
  • spitting at or trying to hit/assault another player
  • denying the opposing team goal by handling the ball (even if unintentional), thus stopping a goal from scoring
  • preventing a promising attack on goal by holding, pushing, intentionally fouling an opponent
  • using abusive language or gestures
  • receiving two yellow cards in one game (individually without relation to each other).

A yellow card will lead to a warning and requires them to leave the field of play for 2 minutes; however, accumulating two will result in the player being forced to leave for the remainder of that game.

A direct red card will require the player to be ejected from the court completely for 4 minutes while requiring their team to play shorthanded.

Fouls and misconducts in the penalty area

You can only stop a penalty given when a handball is committed inside your opponent’s 18-yard box if the ball was headed towards the goal or struck directly at it by an opponent.

If these conditions are met, play will be stopped but restarted with a direct free kick taken by the defending team where the offense occurred instead of a penalty shot being awarded.

The foot presses the ball

They will also give an indirect free-kick if one of these two conditions were not met (and there was no other foul/misconduct), in which case defenders must stand outside the penalty area while the attacking team takes a shot.

Futsal goalkeeper rules

The goalkeeper’s specific role differs slightly from what you’re used to seeing in a football game. Here we will discuss the rules and regulations relating to this role, including their rights and responsibilities, where they can touch/play the ball, and how many players (if any) can be inside their half at once.

Each team can bring one goalkeeper onto the court during play. Who must wear colors that contrast those worn by outfield players; this makes it easy for referees to spot them easily as goal-line officials (GLO’s).

They also have the power to stop/intercept/catch balls that are shot from outside the penalty area, and thrown-ins was taken by opposing players under certain conditions:

  • when it is either kicked directly out of bounds by an opponent or aimed directly at the team’s own goal with no opposing player in between. ii)A goalkeeper cannot use their hands to touch a ball that has been deliberately kicked to them by a teammate inside the penalty area.
  • when opposition players are within 6 yards of them, either facing forward or sideways, they can only pick up the ball with one hand and must pass/throw it back to a teammate quickly (this happens quickly, so referees don’t have time to penalize these actions).

Right of way

GLO’s & goalkeepers do not have absolute right of way, meaning outfield players can legally challenge any 50/50 balls on equal footing. That is done all over the court, even in the goalkeeper’s penalty area.

Time spent with the ball

When a goalkeeper has possession of the ball, all opposing players must be beyond an imaginary line that runs parallel to the edge of the penalty area and at least 6 yards from the player in possession.

Opponents can try to block a goal kick but cannot be within 10 yards from where it will land when kicked by the team’s keeper (i.e., if their teammates cannot receive it).

If either of these rules is broken, referees call an indirect free-kick for opponents, which is taken by whoever last touched/played the ball before it went out of bounds; this is given within 6 yards of where they stopped play.

Penalty area

That is the semi-oval-shaped area around a team’s own goal where its goalkeeper is allowed to touch/play the ball with their hands when it has been passed directly to them by a teammate, including during a stoppage in play.

Additionally, defenders are not allowed within 6 yards of them when this happens, and they must give way if an attacker is nearby (though they can challenge for 50/50 balls).

The goalkeeper guards the gate futsal laws of the game

Here are examples of what can happen should these rules be broken:

  • If the goalie touches the ball with his hands outside of this area, they cannot handle it again until someone from the opposing team does so first
  • if another player touches the ball before an opponent acknowledges their presence, play is restarted with a goal kick to the opposing team
  • and if an opponent challenges for it before an attacker does and wins possession of the ball, cannot challenge that player for it until they pass/throw it to another teammate
  • if it enters their own goal directly from the goalie’s hands (not including deflections), opponents are awarded an indirect free-kick 6 yards outside of where this happened.

Futsal penalty rules

Penalties in futsal are taken like so;

  • opposing players must stand at least 10 yards away from where the ball will be placed when kicked
  • kicks are not allowed to go above head height,
  • all players except the kicker and goalkeeper must remain outside of the penalty area (including the 3-meter line)
  • they cannot play the ball until a player from each side and has touched it
  • the kicker must wait for the referee’s whistle before kicking.

Referees are also charged with making sure any players who attempt to deceive them are punished accordingly; they have the power to issue yellow cards, red cards, or even stop play if they feel what is taking place isn’t being dealt with adequately.

Futsal rules and regulations – conclusion

Futsal is one of the most popular indoor sports today, with many professional soccer clubs operating their teams in major cities throughout Europe. The International Futsal Association oversees all futsal games at an international level, while federations do so at a national level. “FIFA-sanctioned tournaments occur every year across the globe for both men and women. Football Rules and Regulations (Soccer rules)

Football has major leagues such as the European cup of nations, the African cup of nations Copa America, and the World Cup – the largest. Basic football rules and regulations are constant in any league, whether big or small.

Universally, there are 17 recognized rules of a football game. When playing on a small scale, there are situations where basic rules of football can come in handy to make the game more fun and interesting. Below is an outline of the simplified rules of a football game.

  • Firstly, all players except the goalkeeper must use their feet, chest, head, or other body parts except their arms and hands. The goalkeeper is exempted from this restriction but with an exception. He can touch the ball in their goal area only.
  • The game must have two teams which should constitute ten active members and a goalkeeper on each side.
  • The match has to be played in two halves, with each half running for 45 minutes at maximum.
  • The game can only be controlled by three people, i.e., a referee and three linesmen. Their role is to maintain rules and order. Depending on how a rule has been broken, they can award penalties and free-kick or expel a player from the game.
  • A coin toss usually determines how the game should start, i.e., which team should take the first kick. Also, tossing a coin determines which team defends which goal post.

Rules of soccer: ball in play

The ball is only considered in play when it is on the field. Suppose It moves out of the field; it is considered out of play. In-play is considered if the ball rebounds off the referee or any of his assistants, flag post, goalposts, or the crossbars.

The referee and other officials

Every football match must have a referee. He has the task of maintaining order and ensuring the football rules and regulations are followed. So, he punishes those who don’t adhere to the soccer rules and awards a free kick for a rule infringement.

Match Duration

A football match takes place in two periods, each 45minutes with a 15-minute break. Additional time is to compensate for the time lost caring for injured players. Overtime is only added if the game is a draw.

Penalty kick

A penalty kick award is granted to the defending player for rule infringement or foul in his penalty area. The taker and the goalkeeper are the only participants in the penalty kick with a distance of 9.15m.

Starting a play

A coin toss always determines the team that takes the first kick. The coin toss also helps in deciding which team will be defending which goal post. At halftime, the match restarts, with the opposing team taking the first kick.

Commonly known as linesmen, they are always at least two. The role of the linesmen is to ensure that the ball is in play and monitor fouls. Other roles are to watch for free-kick necessity, offside, and rule-breaking.

You need to know about turning because you have to ensure that you’re always in control of the ball in whatever direction you turn. Keep in mind that football is not about running and chasing the ball. You have to learn and master the technique of maneuvering with the ball.

Striking the ball

You can strike the ball in many ways. How you hit the ball depends on the ball’s state, your body angle, and position. To achieve the desired outcome, ensure you’re in the proper position and angle with the foot surface choice for striking the ball.

That is giving your teammate the ball. So, you’ll be kicking the ball in different directions at varying speeds. The important thing here is to spot whether your teammate is in a good position and angle.

Essentially, you should be able to keep the ball moving on your feet as you move. That means that you have to be in control of the ball at the same time you’re running.

Moving quickly

When in a football match, you want to ensure your reflex is on top of the roof. Also, make sure you have the ball also moving at your speed. That is an essential factor in the game if you want to beat your opponent.

First touch control

Whenever the ball moves towards you, you want to gauge at what speed and angle it’s moving. Once you’ve determined your move of initiating the first touch, control shouldn’t be a problem.
